I came to acting by way of figure skating.  I  grew up with competitive skating but it was never the desire to win that kept me going, but the desire to perform.  After high school, I took a gap year to travel the world touring with Disney on Ice.  I  experienced first hand how much joy live performance could bring audiences and I knew that it was something I  had to continue pursuing.  I  graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bucknell University with a BA in theatre and have been working professionally in theatre, film and commercials ever since.

 

These days, I am based in Southern California as I  pursue my MFA in Acting at the University of California, Irvine.  I  am interested in all kinds of performance, especially physical and dance-based theatre.  And even though I may look like a Disney ingenue, I'd like to challenge ideas of what that lady-like even means.  I  want to bring ferocious, strong and even gross characters to the forefront and show that there is so much more to being a woman than her appearance.  When I'm not acting, I can be found taking long meandering walks, teaching and taking Pilates classes, and practicing Aerial Silks.
